Today I will share the ICC up coming cricket event 2024 to 2031. ICC board confirmed the schedule of ICC events from 2024 to 2031 including ICC T20 World cup, ICC men’s World cup and Champion Trophy re-introduced. ICC Men’s cricket world cup consists of 14 teams 54 matches in 2027 and 2031 event. On the other hand Men’s t20 world cup will be expended 20 teams and 55 matches in 2024, 2026, 2028 and 2030 T20 world cup events. ICC World Test Champion final will be held in 2025, 2027, 2029 and 2031. The Champion Trophy will be held in 2025 and 2029. For the growing of women’s game ICC will also held both cricket world cup and t20 world cup.
The up-coming ICC World cup event will be held in the same format which was held in 2003. There will be 2 groups of 7 teams, with the top 3 teams will be move in super 6 group stage, followed by semi-final and final. The ICC men’s T20 world cup will consist of four groups and each group consist of 5 teams, with the top 2 teams will be move in super 8 group stage, followed by the semi-final and final (knockout stage). The champion Trophy will be same format which was held in previous edition 2 groups of 4 teams and knock out stage semi-final and final.
